When I was a child I loved to draw…now as well! After my studies at the Academy of Fine Arts of Florence, I went to
Rachael McLean, a children’s book author, and freelance illustrator lives in a beautiful coastal town in Australia. She loves writing stories and drawing magical pictures to bring them to life.
Rachael’s illustrations can be found worldwide in beautiful kid’s books, on pretty products, greeting cards, magazine editorials, and websites. Her work has been featured on popular design blogs such as Print and Pattern, Inside Out and Apartment Therapy, and in printed publications such as Uppercase, Publisher’s Weekly, Babiekins, Highlights Hello, Mollie Makes and Frankie.
When Rachael is not drawing, you can find her taking long walks on the beach with her two rescue chihuahuas and her husband.
