Emily Bevens

About Emily Bevens

Emily is a young, new, children’s author and aspiring illustrator and novelist who resides in Bristol, UK. The prospect that her written words influence a reader to experience many emotions is what excites and drives her writing. She has always had a creative flair which manifested itself through writing speeches, articles, and presentations throughout her education and early careers. Alongside her passion for writing; her art and drawing has permitted Emily to travel the world, meeting people of all ages and cultures from which she cultivates her characters. Writing children’s books allows Emily to create stories for children to get lost in, whilst hopefully sparking their own imagination, as they once did hers. Having recently studied Social Psychology at Loughborough University, she has established a greater understanding of the world from a child’s perspective. This has enabled her to construct books which excite, thrill and embody the importance of bedtime stories for both children and parents alike.
